Rainforest Tour – Hidden Waterfall hike

US$120 per person + 7% tax

Take a scenic drive to the mountains north-east of Panama City, passing by lush jungle. Then hike in the forest to a waterfall surrounded by nature, with a natural stone pool to swim and relax. The hiking trail goes through the forest giving you the opportunity to observe Panama’s incredible bio-diversity. After the hike we go to lunch in a small Panamanian style restaurant for a taste of the local flavors.

Cave Exploration Tour

After a scenic drive from Panama City to a small indigenous community on the shores of Lake Bayano, we take a small boat and navigate to the entrance of the caves. This lake is quite big and the landscape is dramatic, but the real adventure begins inside the caves, as you will immediately feel the adrenaline pumping through your veins as you walk deep into this underground river and start appreciating the most spectacular rock formations created by the hand of time. Then we reach an open area surrounded by huge stone walls, gorgeous forest and a lagoon, where everyone is invited for a refreshing swim. We have our picnic lunch and return to the native community were you can change clothes for the drive back.

Panama Canal Expansion & San Lorenzo Fort

This day your guide will drive you coast to coast to the Caribbean coast to see the new expanded Panama Canal, where you will learn about the massive mega-project that was the Panama Canal Expansion.  This is the single most important project for the Panamanian economy and it is valued in over 5 billion dollars!  After seeing the new locks, we will drive to the San Lorenzo Fort where you will see the ruins of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Caribbean Island Experience

Travel coast to coast alongside the Panama Canal from Panama City on the Pacific Ocean to the Caribbean Sea. We will take a small boat and visit a beautiful island near the coast. Later on we will have a taste of Caribbean style cuisine, and on the way back, we will pass by the historic town of Portobello, where you can see the ruins of famous Spanish forts used to defend the area against pirates… Yes, the pirates of the Caribbean did exist!
